What is the best Caribbean Island for late December travel?
Can you answer k.i.s.s's question about Caribbean Vacations?:
Would love a winter vacation in the Caribbean and can't decide which island to go to - I want one that isn't rainy and cold in December (I want to swim and lie in the sand) AND has reasonable prices!! Aruba is great, I know, but, it's a bit pricey for us!
I'm looking for an inexpensive island that has tons of sun in Decmeber - I don't want to be rained on! When answering, can you let me know why you think it'll be great in December. Thanks!

Stay away from the Western Caribbean; don't waste your money. Opt for Eastern Caribbean; you won't regret it!
Some place with very warm weather, no rain and very good nude beaches.
Try Puerto Rico. It's beautiful, cheap, you don't need a passport, you can use US currency and most people speak English!
Definitely Barbados. I've been there in December 2004, and it was sun, sun, sun.
Trust me, it was paradise, escaping from the cold where I live, and I was able to enjoy the warmth!
Try comparing prices online and from travel agency to another, and do this until you find a fare that's a lot cheaper than most, then you grab it. For cheapest accommodation, and you don't care about luxury, but at least clean, then try Pegwell Inn Guest House.
This guesthouse is close to amenities, beaches, even of walking distance to fast food restaurants, especially post office, and there's public transportation right near that place - you could take a big bus into its capital, Bridgetown or even further Speightstown!
Hope this helps.
Check out Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic.
All-inclusive and good prices.
Good Luck
Barbados or St. Lucia.amazing islands.you won't regret it.
Dominica of course with all the beautiful green mountains,365 rivers for freshness from all the heat of the sun.great
Barbados. The climate is healthful. June to November is the rainy season.
I would say Antigua and Barbuda. Antigua is actually known for its sun, sea and sand (it has a warm sunny weather all year round) and the ppl are friendly. Antigua has 365 beaches: one beach for each day of the year and is located inthe eastern Caribbean. You can also visit its sister island by boat or by plane. If you are probing for a popular, popular caribbean island go for the well knowns such as Barbados, Trinidad and Tobago or Jamaica but December is tourism season, tons and tons of tourists will be around for those times. Antigua is a nice get-away with bunches of activities to do. And it isn't that expensive. The most espense you would go through is if you book an expensive hotel but in those, you would get your money's worth. See ya there.
