How many seasons are there in the Caribbean Islands?

Can you answer Kervin A.'s question about Caribbean Vacations?:

In school we all learn there are four(4) seasons, namely: autumn, spring, summer and winter. Is it also this way in the Caribbean Islands? If not, how many seasons are there?

Although they have 4 seasons the temperature variation is not great. During the winter highs are in the 80's and during the summer it can hit 100. Tropical storms abound in July - October.

There are 4 seasons just like everywhere else. Although the winters may not seem that different to visitors. To us the people that live in the caribbean there is a significant drop in temperature, especally compared to the summers which get well over 100 degrees.

There are 2 seasons… the RAINY season and the NOT RAINY season.

The WATER TEMP in the Caribbean is around 80 DEGREES during the winter… so HOW can you have a FALL and a WINTER? The temp range anywhere in the Caribbean is 72 to 90 degrees on average.

EVERYTHING is ALWAYS in season.. that is why the fruits and vegetables are always available because there is no growing season like you have in the U.S.

You DO understand that the further SOUTH you travel, the WARMER it becomes… right?

4 Seasons like everywhere else but the temperatures don't change dramatically.
