Playa Del Carmen the hidden treasure of Mexico

Playa Del Carmen is in the Mexican state of Yucatan. You can't understand it tell you've been there. Not to be forgotten sandwiched between its bigger brothers, Colima is small but not unimportant. Neither too large nor to small, Playa Del Carmen is just right. Its neither to hot nor too cold.  It’s not too busy and yet has most everything. In short, it’s been a wonderful place to live while the rest of Mexico sells out for tourists. For example, Playa Del Carmen has approximately 5% of the hotel rooms of Puerto Vallarta to the north.

Two-thirds of those visiting are Canadian. It looks like many from Canada have decided to make Playa Del Carmen their second home. More than 2/3 of the foreigners are from Canada. You can really see how different Playa Del Carmen is from other locations. Frequently the owners will remember you and welcome you when returning to a restuarant. You are not just another customer, you are needed. Nobody is overly eager to turn the city into another tourist trap destination. A feeling which is a shared desire of the locals, who, it is reported, have for many years been reluctant to accept federal funds targeted at developing tourism in the area. Playa Del Carmen remains true to it's roots.

Come see for yourself.  Come see the incredible and amazing Xcaret eco-park where you will see what the Yucatan was like many years ago. Also go and enjoy an amazing. It is an amazing eco adventure park and resort that is fun for the whole family! So much of the appeal here is because of the community that keeps this place afloat, come and be a part of it. It’s real, it’s affordable, and it’s available, now go on a Playa Del Carmen resort vacation today!
